Meet the team
I was born in Romania and graduated from University in Bucharest-Romania in 1997. I have worked in Romania as a vet and for the last 8 years worked and lived in the UK. I always dreamt of being a vet as a young girl, as my father did as well. We have lots of animals back in Romania, mainly dogs as we have a nice big garden for them to play in! I would describe myself as a very motivated, highly committed and reliable person. I have always followed my dreams; one of which is coming true in opening my own vet surgery in Enfield! I am very much looking forward to meeting the local people & pets, and welcoming you into the surgery.
Mihaela is another one of our veterinary surgeons and also acts as our head nurse while she expands her training in the UK. She studied at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in July 2012. Since working at our practice, Mihaela has become a very proud foster owner of four zebra finches and two mischievous little cats.
You will often find her, when not in consult, out back tending to our furry little friends, keeping everyone happy and healthy.
Lucy started at our practice in January 2015, and is one of our trainee vet nurses. She is very much enjoying working amongst our team and our furry friends. She has recently adopted a lovely little bichon fries called Oscar who is just adorable! She finds her job very rewarding, and she is very dedicated to her work. She has a special interest in anaesthesia. You will always find Lucy smiling around our practice and she looks forward to meeting you all and helping to care for your pets!
Alex is a trainee vet nurse who has been with us since September 2014/. Alex has a beautiful husky cross malamute called Mosi who she adopted years ago and has never looked back since! She loves surgery and nurse consultations and enjoys putting her full capabilities into caring for our sick patients.
Daisy has been working with us since September 2014 and it has changed her world. She will be starting her vet nursing diploma this year and is very excited to continue on her career ladder within the veterinary field and also with us! Her favourite animal is her little black cat Bobbie (short for Roberta), who is 11 years old and loves nothing more than snuggles and kisses!
Kelly started at Companion Care Enfield in October 2014 and is our permanent receptionist. She is always smiling and keen to help! She enjoys being in the front of the practice getting to meet all of our furry friends and their owners. She has her own little dog, a sprollie called Lola who you may find hanging around the practice from time to time! Her special interests are writing and film studies.
Companion Care Enfield is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
