Meet the team

Monish

MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2003. I worked in the Birmingham area in small animal practice for 2 years before I began locuming all over the UK to gain experience. I then worked and travelled around Australia and New Zealand for 2½ years - this was an amazing experience which allowed me to gain invaluable insight into differing clinical practices.

I enjoy being a vet general practitioner, especially the close interaction and relationship between vet and patient. I love providing an excellent service to all my clients & patients - both old & new.

Outside of work I am a sports enthusiast, love to read and am also a movie buff. My rescued Rottweiler, Beyonce, enjoys coming to work with me regularly!

Ionut

MRCVS

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Iasi Romania in 2015. During my studies I’ve completed internships for both small and large animals. I became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London in March 2017 and soon I have the opportunity and pleasure to be employed with Companion Care Vets and their extraordinary team.

Being a vet surgeon is the best challenge for me because I have to consult patients who do not speak, who can’t say in which area there are dysfunctions, patients who often react simply instinctively; so I must be able to "read" the clinical signs of the patient, interpret, diagnose, and intervene for solving the disease. With every happy owner I feel like I’ve achieved my purpose.

I have my best friend Tasa, a 7 year old boxer, here in the UK with me. She is a lovely companion, the best partner for outdoor activities and my constant source of joy.

Flori

MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was born and raised in a small countryside town in Romania, and I graduated the faculty of veterinary medicine from Cluj Napoca in July 2018. Whilst in Cluj I volunteered for a few animal rescues where I was able to help stray cats & dogs. I decided to move to the UK in September 2018, and in November I got the opportunity to join the Vets4Pets/Companion Care team.

In my free time I enjoy reading, preferably whilst sipping on a tea and cuddling a cat! Back in Romania I have two cats and two mixed breed dogs.

Bogdan

MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was born & raised in Romania, I studied veterinary medicine in Iasi, where I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in July 2016.

During university I volunteered & worked inside a veterinary clinic that mostly dealt with small animals, but I also had the chance to work with farm animals for a couple of weeks.

I've always loved animals and one of my dreams was to move to a country that would give me the opportunity to interact with as many animal species as possible. Fortunately this dream came true in 2017, when I was given the chance to join this team.

Outside the work schedule, I enjoy visiting museums, old historical places, and when nobody is listening I really enjoy a good karaoke!

Veterinary Surgeon

Ever since I was a child, I liked and loved the animals, and I wanted to be a veterinary surgeon. My dream became a reality when I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj Napoca, Romania. During the faculty I had the opportunity to practice and volunteer in small animal clinics, but also in some farms. I also had the opportunity to go with the Erasmus Scholarship to Italy for an exchange of experience.

My dream of working in a veterinary clinic with small animals became I reality when I became a member of the team at Companion Care & Vets4Pets. I am very happy and proud to be part of this great and extraordinary team.

MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was born and raised in a beautiful city on the sea in Sicily, Italy and I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bologna in October 2018. When I was still a student I had the opportunity to practice both with small animals in reference structures, and with large animals at various farms.

After graduation I had a volunteer experience at a small animal clinic in my home town, which ended when I decided to move to the UK to test myself in a different life and work context than in my country. After only one month from my arrival in the UK I found what I wanted more than anything else, namely working with an adorable and professional team like Companion Care / Vet4Pets. My great passion is the clinic, with a particular interest in endocrinology, but I also have a strong passion for soft tissue surgery.

During my free time I love traveling, reading, and being an Italian I love cooking for my friends! But more than anything else, I dedicate my free time to Gina, my beloved little dog!

Veterinary Care Assistant

I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2016 with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation BSc (Hons). I have always had a keen interest in animal behaviour, during my degree I had the opportunity to travel to South India to study Asian elephants and track Tigers. I also travelled to Slovakia to track Bears and Wolves. I loved it!

I have always worked in the animal sector from dog groomer to wildlife keeper, so when the opportunity came to work at the practice I jumped right in. I have always admired vets and aspired to work in a practice. Even though I am new to the team I feel at home. I love being able to work in a practical, hands-on environment.

Over the years I have had many family pets such as cats, dogs, ferrets and even the occasional rescued baby bird. Now I have my very own fur sole mate - my rescued beagle, Nancy. She is challenge and has epilepsy but I would not change her for the world and is definitely one of a kind.
