Meet the team

Dr Finn Seydewitz
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
Mag.med.vet MRCVS
I graduated from The University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria, in 1998. After a short time in practice I came to England to work first at the PDSA in London before moving into mixed practice in Norfolk.
In 2001 I joined a practice in Salisbury where I was in charge of the surgical department. In 2007 I joined Companion Care and opened the Winchester vet surgery.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of surgery I particularly like orthopaedics and reconstructive surgery. After the surgery has grown so well over the last 6 years I decided to open a second practice in Andover with 2 colleagues.
At home I like to spend time with my wife and 2 children. We have a Labrador called Josie, and a cat called Lillie.

Tomasz graduated from The University of Life Science (Warsaw) in 2005. After 4 years working as a small animal vet in his hometown he came to England. Before he joined our team he worked for a year and a half in Southampton. He enjoys all aspects of being a vet but loves internal medicine.

I graduated from Bristol University in 2000 and have worked in the local area for a number of years. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but have a particular interest in Internal Medicine.
When I am not at work, I enjoy going to the gym, Latin American and Ballroom dancing with my husband, Mark, and spending time with my two sons. I have an elderly Spaniel, Marley and a rescue cat Jake.

I graduated from The University of Bristol and joined the Companion Care Winchester team in September 2021. I enjoy the variety of general practice and that no two days are the same! In my spare time I enjoy baking, dancing and going to the gym.

Emba has two Samoyed dogs named Echo and Nala and two cats called Ace and Chilli. She is qualified as a Veterinary Nurse from the Royal Veterinary College. During her training, Emba was a regular visitor, as she came in for placements to gain experience for her degree. Emba has embarked on the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, a prestigious award which will deepen her knowledge in Veterinary Nursing in all areas.

I have always had an avid interest in animals, so after leaving school I completed my national diploma in Animal Management, at Sparsholt College. I have been in practice ever since and I completed my Veterinary Nurse training in 2013. Along the way, I rescued a Plummer Terrier called Riley in 2010 and my Miniature Dachshund called Minnie came into my life in 2016.
In my spare time I enjoy taking the dogs on long walks, especially to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Paula joined our team in April 2017 as a veterinary care assistant. This is her first position in animal care, her career to date having been in management accounting. As a lover of animals, she is enjoying this work immensely and is keen to embark on further education in this field.
Paula and her husband live with their menagerie, comprised of Chesney the donkey, Alan, Stewie and Brian the goats, Shirley and Shaun the sheep and Pat the cat. In her spare time, she loves cooking, seeing her friends and growing her own vegetables. Whilst the upkeep of their animals keeps her fairly active, she also likes running to keep fit.

Hazel joined the team in February 2020.

May has three dogs, a Westie called Albe and 2 long haired Chihuahuas called Percy and Luna. She completed her training and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in August 2023. She loves to relax on her sofa in her PJ's surrounded by her dogs watching TV with a nice scented candle!

Anna is a qualified veterinary nurse at Winchester Companion Care.
In a previous life, Anna was a financial accountant, but came to veterinary while looking for a career change into something which could help others. She used to rescue rats, has owned a pony, but currently just have one crazy dog, Lunar.
In her free time she loves long walks with Lunar, crafts, reading, and spending time with friends.

I started working at Companion Care Winchester in October 2019, shortly thereafter realising I definitely wanted a career in the veterinary profession. I also went to Sparsholt College and completed a level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management.
In my spare time, I love seeing family and friends. I enjoy playing with and looking after my cat Lottie who I rescued from Companion Care.

I joined the Companion Care team in August 2022, shortly after completing my Advanced Technical Diploma in Animal Management at Sparsholt College. I had previously been employed as an English Language teacher, following obtaining the relevant qualifications and my Bachelors in Creative Writing. It didn’t take long, however, to realise that my passion lay in pursuing a career in animal science — specifically, veterinary science.
At home, I enjoy reading, writing, swimming, and spending time with my cat, Artemis.

Samantha joined the team in June 2015, she worked as a qualified HR Professional for several years before joining the Companion Care Team. She has two part Siamese cats called Lois and Clark. She enjoys running, playing badminton and socialising with friends and family.

Eloise joined Companion Care in October 2009 after her maternity leave as receptionist. She was promoted to Reception Manager in 2013, so is responsible for the daily running of the reception area. At home Eloise enjoys baking and making novelty cakes with her son Alfie.

Annabel joined the team in September 2022. Previously working in hospitality alongside completing a Foundation Art and Design course in Leeds. In her spare time she enjoys walking her rescue dog Murphy and anything art related.

Nicole joined the team in December 2022.

Emily joined the team in January 2023 having previously worked for Pets at Home, Emily discovered she enjoyed working with animals and wanted to be a part of the veterinary industry. In her free time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her two dogs Elsie and Poppy.

Lily joined the team in January 2023 and loves all animals but has a particular soft spot for dogs. She embraces the busy, buzzing atmosphere working at with the team here at Companion Care. Outside of work she enjoys playing netball as well as spending time with her family and friends.
