Hi. I am Dimitrios Tachos and I joined the Salford Companion Care in April 2020. Having grown in a farming family in Greece, I developed a connection with animals and an interest in animal health and animal welfare from a young age. I completed my studies from the “Faculty of Veterinary Science”, University of Thessaly (Greece), and then moved to England in 2012 in order to expand my horizons and improve my expertise and knowledge in the Veterinary field.
Over the years in U.K. I have gained much experience working as a government Vet, however my passion for the clinical side has led me to get back to the small animal practice. I am a vet because I love animals, I always wanted to work with them and even if sometimes it’s a demanding job, is also one of the most rewarding jobs anyone could choose. So, I am here to help your pets have the best treatment possible and with the fabulous Salford team to give them the best care and love.

I have started my journey here in Salford in April 2020 where I have discovered an amazing team and amazing clients and I am looking forward for the journey which we will do together to make sure we are treating your pets with professionalism and compassion through our daily challenges.
Apart of working and being in love with my job and daily challenges I also love travelling and discovering new places, skiing being on of my favourite sports. Looking forward to meet all clients and to provide the best care to they're furry friends .
Hi I'm Hayley, I've been nursing for 18 years and qualified for 10 and a half years.
I have 4 cats aged 16, called Baby, Sooty, Tiger and Parsley. 3 of them will be 17 years old in February.
I have 5 chickens called Tikka, Paprika, Biryani, Tandoori and Jelfrezi. Jelfrezi is very naughty. I also have two children.
I love cats & chickens. I am very good with rabbits, birds, chickens and cats. I'm excellent with naughty and aggressive cats.
My job is very rewarding and each day is different, you never know what each day can bring.
I started at Salford companion care as a locum in August and as the team are excellent I decided to take the RVN position.
I love family and friend get togethers and dancing, I especially love my garden as I am a keen gardener.
But most of all I could spend my days in my garden with my chickens as they are comical and mischievous.
