Meet the team
I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon 13 years ago and my entire professional career has been dedicated to companion animals. I moved to the UK to follow my ambition of giving excellent service within the veterinary profession.
I always knew I wanted my own surgery to be able to provide the high quality care I strive for and believe is important for both pets and their owners. For the last 5 years I have worked hard to build a great reputation for pet and client care at the practice, and I am really proud to watch the surgery continue to grow.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and playing with Fifi, our French bulldog, and cat Bella. I love travelling and sports - tennis, football and skiing in particular. I look forward to welcoming you and your much loved family pet to our practice.
I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse 13 years ago after attending the College of Animal Welfare in Huntingdon. I am currently studying Feline Behaviour and I love working with the more nervous patient. I am passionate about all aspects of nursing and come from an emergency background where I worked mainly nights.
At home I am a mum of two boys aged 6 and 3 and have a collection of fur babies including Marvin (Rottweiler), Theo (Cocker spaniel), Beth (Permanent foster Boston Terrier), Barry (Hand reared kitty), Moo Moo (Another hand reared kitty) and chickens. In my free time I enjoy helping at my local animal charity and fostering pets.
I have been working within the veterinary industry since 2012, starting out in a referral practice as a Kennel Assistant whilst I working towards my degree. I completed this in 2014 with a BSc in Applied Animal Studies, which focused on Veterinary Science and Zoology.
I later became a Qualified Veterinary Nurse in 2016 whilst working in an exotic practice. I then joined Companion Care in September 2018. I have a keen interest in emergency and critical care, as well as exotic patient care.
Out of work I enjoy swimming, spending time in the countryside and cuddling my cat, Arwin.
My career at Companion Care started as a receptionist in October 2014 and I became Practice Manager in June 2015. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of veterinary life and especially like that no day is the same. My management qualifications help me to provide the excellent customer service that all our patients and clients deserve. In my spare time I enjoy dinning out, socialising with friends and spending time with my partner.
I started my role as Veterinary Care Assistant at the surgery in September 2014. I have previously completed Animal First Aid which I really enjoyed learning about. I have my own pets including two rabbits, degus, goldfish and a Bullmastiff cross called Ruby.
I enjoy walking and training her in my spare time along with watching films and eating out at the weekend.
Before coming to Companion Care I worked in animal welfare for over 10 years. I have 2 dogs which both came from rescue centres and are now senior citizens. The best part of my job is all the cuddles I have with our clients pets (especially puppies).
When not a work, I enjoy walking my dogs in the countryside surrounding where I live and spending time with my family.
I joined the Companion Care team in July 2015 and instantly knew I would love it here. I get to use my skills and experience in administration and customer service, whilst having the opportunity to work with animals! At home I have a 7 year old Yorkshire terrier called Barney who I love taking for walks. In my spare time I enjoy going out for dinner and spending time with my young son and partner.
