Meet the team
I qualified and obtained my MRCVS Veterinary Degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1994. Since then, I have worked in 2 main practices, the last being local here in Croydon. Having done long stints in my two main jobs, it enabled me to form a great bond with my clients and their pets, most of whom I now consider my friends.
This in turn has made it easier for me to get involved with them at a deeper level and provide very high quality Veterinary care to my patients, this level of care being what I am especially passionate about. I have a wide experience in most surgical and diagnostic procedures and have a particular interest in Internal medicine and Abdominal Ultrasonography. When I am not working, I love tennis, whether playing, watching or going to Wimbledon and also travelling and eating out. Having the time to enjoy my hobbies is however highly dependent on my 2 adorable cats who love to wrap me around their little paws!!
I have been working in the veterinary industry for around 8 years now but Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 with the College of Animal Welfare. I wanted to work with animals since I was a very young girl, having been brought up with many animals. I enjoy anything very hands on and in particular, would like to further my knowledge in surgical nursing. I currently do not have any of my own pets having lost my Beautiful cat Poppy just recently but will be sure to gain another furry family member in the near future. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and family, which usually consists of long walks with my Mum's two beautiful dogs, Teddy and Gabriella (Gabby) who i adore! I would like to travel the world some more, as well as work along side some larger, wilder animals!
I have worked in practice for over two years and my job involves assisting the veterinary team with the recovery of sick and injured animals as well as helping animals recover from routine operations; I love being there for client’s pets when they need me most. In September I wish to start my training to become a veterinary nurse which will help me achieve my dream of improving the welfare of animals. I have a Lurcher called Jasper who I absolutely love to bits and enjoy walking when I get the chance.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
I joined the Croydon team when it opened in October 2011. I have worked as a Veterinary receptionist for a few years and am very pleased that I have progressed to the nursing team as a Veterinary Care Assistant. I really enjoy working with animals and I hope to qualify as a nurse in the not too distant future. I love Dogs and currently have 2 Labradors called Kasba & Shadow and a Mastiff called Disney. When I am not working I enjoy walking my dogs, going out with friends & spending time with my family.
I have been with the practice since 2015 I started as work experience for 6 months and was hired on as Veterinary care assistant afterwards. Since this time I have been given the opportunity to further myself and now have started my Veterinary Nurse training. I found my love of animals from a young age and have owned a variety of animals over the years. I now have 3 dogs Sadie (jack x pom), Logan (staffy cross) and Marnie ( staffy x mastiff). They are my babies and would do anything for them. Its due to them that I found my love of the veterinary industry and have never looked back. Everyone at the practice knows me as the staffy lady as I have quite a fondness for the breed. But love anything with fur. My hobbies are writing short stories and and anything outdoors.
I joined the team here in Croydon, in April 2018 and what a fantastic team it is to work for. I have worked in Management for over 12 years and what I love most about my job is the interaction with my clients. Patient and Client care to the highest standard, is what I strive for in our practice, I love learning and developing new and exciting ideas to help both my team and clients to achieve gold standard service. At home I grew up with all manner of pets, from small mammals through to reptiles. My favourite pets would be my love of cats, Currently I have 2 cats at home, Kovu which I rescued and Loki who is a ragdoll and both get spoilt rotten! In my spare time I enjoy many Hobbies, in particular Kitesurfing and playing guitar, I also love spending time with my family, going out and just enjoying life.
I joined the team in Croydon in October 2018 as a receptionist. Since joining I have learnt a lot and i'm still learning more each day! I have been working with animals for the last 2 years and wanted to find out more about the veterinary industry which led me here. I hope to further my knowledge and possibly one day become a vca. I enjoy spending time with my 4 chinchillas, my cat Squish and my fire belly toads! I also enjoy photography and walking my family dog Fraggle.
I joined Croydon Companion Care in October 2016 as Veterinary Care Assistant. Initially, I spent a lot of time on reception but also managed to help the vets and nurses in the surgery and since January 2018 my role changed to Receptionist. I very much enjoy helping clients and animals out front although I still occasionally assist the vets and nurses in the surgery.
Prior to joining I worked in the music industry for nearly 30 years! At the end of the day working with animals is a lot more fun and rewarding even though it can be sad at times.
I met my beautiful baby boy Rafa when I was at college studying Animal Management. I lost my first cat Luca after 17 years suddenly to cancer and soon after was asked to look after Rafa who was at the Blue Cross on site. I wasn't looking for another cat (losing Luca destroyed me) but after spending four months looking after Rafa, I knew I couldn’t be without him and the feeling was mutual. I brought my little monster home with me in August 2015 and haven’t looked back since.
I spend as much of my spare time as possible with Rafa (of course), Taco (my twin’s cat), my family and friends, going for walks, eating out and going to concerts (although I’ve been lucky enough to have seen all my favourite acts more than once now especially The Cure, The Killers and Pink).
