Meet the team
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2000. I went on to gain a wide range of experience working in four very different small animal practices in the south-east. It has long been my ambition to run my own practice and I am looking forward to bringing together all of the skills that I have acquired in those positions to provide the best possible service to the patients and clients of Companion Care Redhill.
I completed the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2005, but also particularly enjoy surgery and exotic animal medicine. Away from work I enjoy travelling, eating out and cooking. Fortunately I am also a keen runner which helps to compensate for my more indulgent pastimes!
I graduated from the University of Las Palmas, Spain.Joined the team in April 2017. Learning every day , keeping my focus and interesting the daily cases is a process. To be good at something, you need persistence and dedication.Medicine has been always something that I was aspiring since a child. My first patient was a muppet squirrel: Kate , the worst Christmas gift I ever had as a child.
I particularly enjoy Ophthalmology cases. Eyes are the best gift that we and our pets can open every morning.Working as Veterinary Surgeon in UK , is something that came in my mind impulsively. We live in a world where talent is distributed equally but opportunities are not !More importantly would like to thanks to every single patient and client giving me the chance to be part of that journey.
I have been a vet for 5 years originally I from Bulgaria , where I work as a vet but I decided that I wanted to develop and change my life. So I moved here.
For almost a year I have been part of Companion Care and I adore my patients, clients and the team that I work with. As I am quite busy here in the clinic my own dog, a Newfoundland (4 years old) misses me dearly and gets a bit upset because every evening when I get home from work I smell of all different kinds of little animals. I wonder what does she think?
I qualified from Utrecht University in The Netherlands in 1998 and have over 20 years of experience working as a veterinary surgeon. I have lived in the UK since 2000, working in a variety of veterinary practices and veterinary hospitals. I joined Companion Care in October 2017 and I'm delighted to be working with the Redhill team. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery but I'm particularly interested in endocrinology, immunology, internal medicine and imaging.
Hi I’m Lorna and I’m the Head Registered Veterinary Nurse here at Companion Care Redhill. I qualified from Plumpton College in 2008 and have been at CC Redhill since October 2014. In 2016 I completed the ISFM Feline Friendly Nursing Certificate with Distinction. In October 2018 I completed the 2 year ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour. I love working with cats and I have a soft spot for sloths. I am the practices “Cat Advocate” and strive to make sure that your cats get all the attention they deserve while at the practice.
I have been nursing for 10 years and qualified in 2008. I started work at Companion Care in December 2014 after my maternity leave. I have two children and a cat called Basil.
I’m Gemma I qualified in 2016 from Plumpton College with a Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing. I have always wanted to work with animals and aspired to become a Veterinary Nurse. Once qualified I worked abroad in New Zealand for a year mainly in a small animal practice. I enjoy all aspects of nursing. Since being back home I have completed my Blue Cross Pet Bereavement training and am able to give emotional support to those who have lost their beloved pets. I have a rescue cat called Wilf and 2 rescue rabbits called Molly and Honey.
My name is Daniel, I'm a final year Student Veterinary Nurse, and have been working at CC Redhill since mid 2015. Working in practice has been so rewarding, especially when working hard to bring those ill patients back to their normal selves, and with no two days being the same; there's never a dull moment.I have a German Shepherd at home, but have a particular interest in small furries- mainly Guinea Pigs & Rabbits!.
I started here in February 2017, starting off as a VCA I am now a Student Veterinary Nurse in college and working my way to becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Growing up I have always been around animals, I have done a lot of work experience in different sectors of Animal management, but liked this role best. I have a dog and two cats at home as well as two fish tanks and a koi pond, with the occasional bird that the cats bring in.
I've always wanted to work with animals and was lucky enough to start working at Companion Care as a VCA soon after finishing my animal management course a few years ago. I am now in my 2nd year training to be a nurse. I have a keen interest in exotic animals and hope to specialise in them in the future. I enjoy caring for my bearded dragon Spyro and have a cheeky goldendoodle called Charlie.
I joined the practice at the end of June 2017, having previously worked in a kennel and cattery. I have always wanted to work with animals and eventually would love to train as a veterinary nurse. When I’m not at work I love hanging out with friends, going to the cinema and walking my grandparent’s dog jet. I have an amazing cat called Flash and 2 rabbits, Hope and Cookie.
My name is Holly, I am a VCA here at CC Redhill. I started working here in June 2018. I joined the veterinary industry in 2016. I previously worked as a receptionist at a practice in South Africa where I got to see a lot of exotic animals and work with a lot of charity organisations. I gained a lot of experience, and now, I am fortunate enough to be part of a nursing team where I can continue to learn and develop my knowledge on animal care. I have two of my own rescue doggies who are very spoilt and love going for long hikes up the mountains. I am 100% a dog person, but have a love for all fur-creatures.
I joined the team here at Companion Care as Receptionist in January 2015.Coming from a large family and always having a variety of pets, my love for animals has brought me here and I still have quite a menagerie at home, 5 cats, 3 dogs, 2 spider and 2 snakes as well as my passion for animals, I realise us owners need some support, so when I was offered the chance of a CPD in Pet Bereavement Support, I jumped at it. I have now just started my 2nd course. This will hopefully enable me to give support to owners during their beloved pets passing.
I started working at Companion Care Redhill in September 2017, having previously worked at another vets in Sussex. I’ve always loved animals and am in my element working here with all the adorable pets that come in. I myself have a gorgeous Maine Coon X boy called Charlie, who is probably one of the most spoiled cats in the world (and knows it!)
Hi my name is Emma and I have been working at Companion Care 9 months Previously to working here I have had 8 years experience in a corporate environment however I think this is the best job by far as I have a keen intrest in animal and have an animal myself who is a 2 year old cat called Ziggy.
I started working as a receptionist at Companion Care in July 2018.I have two spaniels of my own. Teddy, who I got as a puppy and Poppy, my puppy farm rescue. I also have 2 guinea pigs at home, Rose and Fleur.
