I’m Michelle, Joint Venture Partner here at New Malden. I can't believe I graduated so long ago in 1999 and have no idea where the time has gone- I guess time flies when you are having fun!

Going to work as a vet is something I still enjoy every day- I love my patients and find the work stimulating and challenging, never knowing what the day will hold. Choosing not to specialise I really enjoy the variety that general practice brings and I particularly value the relationships that I have developed, and continue to develop with my clients. My team at New Malden are compassionate and fun and they bring a lot of joy to my days too.

Outside of work I have lots of fun with my young son and like to wind down with a book if I ever get a quiet moment.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets every day. See you soon :-)

I graduated from Bristol University in 2016 and have been working since as a small animal vet. I love the variety of animals I get to see on a daily basis and am looking forward to working at Companion Care, having volunteered here as a student.

In my spare time I'm often found running around after my troublesome cat Blue, or out with my friends. .

I have had the great privilege of working in the veterinary industry for over 10 years. In November 2006 I took on a voluntary position in a very busy practice in the North East of England where I am originally from. I then went onto qualify as a Veterinary Nurse in 2011.

As Head Nurse at Companion Care New Malden I enjoy passing on my experience to new members of the team, and putting preventative healthcare at the forefront of my priorities. I love nothing better than chatting to clients and their animals, striving to improve all aspects of the pet’s health and lifestyle.

Outside of work I enjoy going for walks with my Boxer Bobby, reading, spending time with friends, visiting family and keeping fit!

My passion for animal care and welfare led me to work part-time at Pets at Home New Malden whilst I was studying at University. These 3 years of experience cemented my decision to look for a job in the veterinary world when I graduated, and I joined the Companion Care team in May 2016 - I have thoroughly enjoyed working here!

Supporting the nursing team and ensuring our clients’ pets have the very best care whilst being with us are my priorities. I have learnt a lot from my training; ranging from animal behaviour and handling, to post-op care and running in-house blood tests. I am looking forward to building on this training and hope to further develop my nursing career.

I have a handsome labrador cross called Chester, who is my (not so little) baby and a variety of tropical fish. In my spare time I enjoy taking Chester out for long walks in the park, drawing, baking and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m Joolz, Practice Manager here at New Malden. I have been working in Veterinary Practice since 1999 and have worked in many different surgery’s, starting at the RSPCA in Putney, where I trained to be a Veterinary Nurse. My career took me as far out as Australia to help out in the RSPCA in Sydney which was fantastic! I progressed into a Head Nurse role in 2006 then moved into practice management in 2011. I joined Companion Care in October 2018 and have loved the can do attitude of our team. I am still a Registered Veterinary Nurse and will on occasion help out with the pets when needed. I don’t have any pets at the moment but love seeing all the pets that come in each day and love them like they are my own!
