Meet the team
I’m Michelle, Joint Venture Partner here at New Malden. I can't believe I graduated so long ago in 1999 and have no idea where the time has gone- I guess time flies when you are having fun!
Going to work as a vet is something I still enjoy every day- I love my patients and find the work stimulating and challenging, never knowing what the day will hold. Choosing not to specialise I really enjoy the variety that general practice brings and I particularly value the relationships that I have developed, and continue to develop with my clients. My team at New Malden are compassionate and fun and they bring a lot of joy to my days too.
Outside of work I have lots of fun with my young son and like to wind down with a book if I ever get a quiet moment.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets every day. See you soon :-)
I started working in Companion Care in 2019, soon after graduating from the University of Nottingham. Having spent a lot of time on placements as a student Vet here at New Malden, I am really happy to have joined as a permanent Vet. I love meeting clients and their pets and feel lucky to get to do the job I love every day!
Outside work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family which includes my lovely cat ‘Boots’
I graduated from Bristol University in 2016 and have been working since as a small animal vet. I love the variety of animals I get to see on a daily basis and am looking forward to working at Companion Care, having volunteered here as a student.
In my spare time I'm often found running around after my troublesome cat Blue, or out with my friends. .
I have had the great privilege of working in the veterinary industry for over 10 years. In November 2006 I took on a voluntary position in a very busy practice in the North East of England where I am originally from. I then went onto qualify as a Veterinary Nurse in 2011.
As Head Nurse at Companion Care New Malden I enjoy passing on my experience to new members of the team, and putting preventative healthcare at the forefront of my priorities. I love nothing better than chatting to clients and their animals, striving to improve all aspects of the pet’s health and lifestyle.
Outside of work I enjoy going for walks with my Boxer Bobby, reading, spending time with friends, visiting family and keeping fit!
My passion for animal care and welfare led me to work part-time at Pets at Home New Malden whilst I was studying at University. These 3 years of experience cemented my decision to look for a job in the veterinary world when I graduated, and I joined the Companion Care team in May 2016 - I have thoroughly enjoyed working here!
Supporting the nursing team and ensuring our clients’ pets have the very best care whilst being with us are my priorities. I have learnt a lot from my training; ranging from animal behaviour and handling, to post-op care and running in-house blood tests. I am looking forward to building on this training and hope to further develop my nursing career.
I have a handsome labrador cross called Chester, who is my (not so little) baby and a variety of tropical fish. In my spare time I enjoy taking Chester out for long walks in the park, drawing, baking and spending time with my family and friends.

Hi, I'm Jess I started working in Companion Care in November 2019.I originally worked as a Receptionist however I have recently changed over to an Animal Care Assistant role to pursue my career to become a Veterinary Nurse . I enjoy working at Companion Care because everyone is so friendly and I enjoy meeting all the animals. In my spare time I like looking after and riding my horses.
I’m Joolz, Practice Manager here at New Malden. I have been working in Veterinary Practice since 1999 and have worked in many different surgery’s, starting at the RSPCA in Putney, where I trained to be a Veterinary Nurse. My career took me as far out as Australia to help out in the RSPCA in Sydney which was fantastic! I progressed into a Head Nurse role in 2006 then moved into practice management in 2011. I joined Companion Care in October 2018 and have loved the can do attitude of our team. I am still a Registered Veterinary Nurse and will on occasion help out with the pets when needed. I don’t have any pets at the moment but love seeing all the pets that come in each day and love them like they are my own!
I joined the team in 2019 as the Head Receptionist for Companion Care. I have loved my time working at the practice with our amazing team and have loved meeting our lovely patients. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and my little dog Ruby.
I joined the New Malden team in 2019 as a Receptionist and have loved every second since. Working with such lovely colleagues and clients has furthered my desire to work in animal welfare, and hope to start working towards my qualifications in the near future. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family - including those small furry kind!
