Dr Sandra Feltham

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I have been sole partner at Companion Care Salisbury for over 10 years now, supported by a friendly and knowledgeable team and my trusty rescue collie, Harley. I graduated from Cambridge University in 1995 having completed my PhD in Neuroscience prior to that at London University. I have worked in mixed animal practice in Cornwall and Dorset but am now focused on small animal, first opinion medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in neurology and oncology. At home, I keep a marine fish tank, and spend lots of time walking with Harley after a day at the surgery!

Dr Malcolm Peck

Gemma joined the practice in 2011 and passed her NCert(Anaesth) with ESVPS in 2017. Gemma has a high level of knowledge in anaesthesia and analgesia, as well as emergency and critical care. Gemma lives with her husband and son Harry who enjoy helping care for their 2 American bulldogs, 2 rescue cats, rabbits and budgies!

Ceri Barrett

Ceri joined the team in 2019 and has recently qualified as a registered veterinary nurse.

Ceri has always had a passion for animals and has had several related jobs over the past 15 years. These include working at a kennels, as a dog-walker, as a receptionist in an emergency veterinary practice, and as an Animal Care Assistant at a veterinary Referral Centre.

Ceri is married and has a daughter and stepson. They all live with their animal friends, two dogs, a rabbit, a tortoise and two musk turtles.

 

Lucy Simmonds

Lucy joined us in October as an animal nursing assistant and is soon to become our trainee veterinary nurse. Lucy has lived on a farm all her life so animals have always been a part of her day. She has owned various types of animals but currently has one cocker spaniel called Maisy, who keeps her very busy as she needs lots of walking!

(Hons) in animal behaviour with a particular interest in canine behaviour.    Leanne lives with her husband, their two young daughters and a selection of pets.

Clare McIntyre

Animal Nursing Assistant

Clare joined the team in April 2016 after studying Animal Management at Sparsholt College. She is not able to have pets in her new flat, so gets her pet fix whilst at work, caring for the pets behind the scenes. Clare loves helping wild animals and has volunteered at various rescue centres, including her favourite destination, South Africa, where she volunteered at a Primate Sanctuary. Clare has completed her Animal Compassion Understood course this year.

Tina Marlow

Tina has been employed in the veterinary business for 18 years and particularly enjoys meeting people and their pets. Tina lives at home with her husband and daughter, rescued German shepherd dog Storm, scruffy Terrier cross Jed, rescue cat Taco and naughty Maine Coon cross Falkor. She also is a grandparent to her eldest daughter’s Sphynx cat, Nephthys, who comes to stay when her daughter is away.

Judy Rumbold

Judy has had various careers - she was a state registered nurse, a furniture maker and then a qualified plumber, but since joining the team in 2013 as a part time receptionist; Judy says this has got to be the best job, meeting and greeting all the animals that pass through our doors! Judy lives with her husband Svend and 3 rescue dogs, Tundra, Sultan and Nonano.

Emma Cole

Emma joined the team in March, 2016. She has always been an animal lover and is the proud owner of 4 naughty African Pygmy Hedgehogs and an accident-prone Lurcher called Roman who sometimes comes to work with her to help at the desk! Emma lives in Salisbury with her partner and has been both a dog-walker and dog-boarder in the past. She loves to travel, spend time with family and go on long walks with Roman.

Caroline Pennelli

Administrative Assistant

Caroline joined the Admin team in 2017 after years of working in education, both in the UK and Canada. Moving to be closer to her family, she has had a change of occupation and is enjoying assisting with various aspects of practice administration and meeting so many wonderful animals and clients. Caroline is a cat lover and has rescued several over the years, mostly black cats. In her spare time she loves to garden and take holidays around the UK in remote locations, walking the dog and reading.

Mr Thomas Thomson-Jenkins

Practice Manager

Tom will be our full time Practice Manager, supporting Sandra and the team in the week to week management of the practice. He has a background in finance, business management and human resources, and has worked with a number of businesses in these capacities, including Pets at Home. We are thrilled to have him join the team.
