Stephan Martini

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of Pisa in Italy in 1998 and have had 11 years in practice. I worked for a few months in Italy and the Blue Cross for 5 years, then in a private practice and locum work – including for Companion Care on and off for 2 years. I have an interest in all aspects of surgery and emergency care and have two cats called Elvis and Thai.

In my spare time I enjoy fishing and travelling.

Kerry Beacom

I graduated from University College Dublin in 2014 after completing a previous degree in Bio Veterinary Science degree at the University of Liverpool.

I have been working at Companion Care since May 2015 and enjoy all aspects of first opinion practice in particular cytology and soft tissue surgery. I have a boxer dog called Fabio, as well as cross breed called Shelby.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my son, Archie and my dogs.

I took time out to have my lovely daughter and since returning to small animal practice I find myself with a handful of rescued animals, 2 Rabbits and a hamster. I love walking - Minsmere and Dunwich Heath are my favorite haunts and I really enjoy crafting, textiles, silversmithing and photography.

I graduated from the Aristotle university of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2017. I then served as a military Vet for nine months, before working for one year in a mixed animal practice as a sole charge Vet. I have a special interest in dermatology and soft tissue surgery. I have been in the UK since February 2019.

In my free time I enjoy cooking and salsa dancing. My favourite part about being a Veterinary Surgeon is knowing that at the end of the day animals are healthy and clients are satisfied.

I have been nursing since 1999 and qualified in 2002 from Moulton College in Dorset. I have been working for Companion Care since the Hall Road surgery opened in 2008, before which I worked at a variety of small animal clinics through the UK gaining lots of experience and working at a variety of surgeries. I absolutely love my job! I particularly love medical and emergency medicine.

In my spare time I like to swim, socialise and go to the theatre.

He enjoys hospital care and anaesthesia while at work and enjoys computer games, spending time with his family and good coffee when he is not at work. He has been working at the Hall Road Surgery since November 2011.

I have been working at the practice since January 2009. I love all aspects of nursing but I have a particular interest in feline medicine, particularly geriatric nursing, and feline behaviour, as well as an interest in exotic species. I completed my feline nursing diploma in 2017.

At home I have 2 cats, a Siamese and a black moggy, a rescue tortoise and a chameleon.

I have worked within the Veterinary industry for over 20 years, 10 of which were as a qualified veterinary care assistant in a referral practice in Essex. I moved to Norwich in August 2018 and started working at Companion Care part time in January 2019. I am particularly interested in exotics and the handling of different species, especially spiders and birds. I also hold a diploma in pet bereavement.

I currently have 4 pet tarantulas, 3 dogs and 2 horses. I am currently training to be a martial arts instructor and I live on a boat.

Kiran has worked for the practice as the Behaviour Centre manager for 15 years and is a full time dog behaviourist and qualified trainer, She is a full member of the APDT (no:00353) and is a charter member of the institute of animal care education, as well as a member of the Behaviour and training council. she also holds a diploma in Pet Bereavement and Nutrition.  Kiran specialises in aggressive dogs and has a background in breeding and working German Shepherds.

She enjoys drawing and baking Macarons in her spare time.

I have worked for Companion Care for 5 years and I very much enjoy my role within this fantastic team. I am a mummy to three gorgeous boys, one 3 legged Tibetan terrier dog and 3 gorgeous cats. When im not at work, we grab every opportunity to head outside, enjoying beach walks, picnics and festivals. When I am not occupied by my family I do try and delve into my passion for wellness, practising Reiki, Bach flower remedies and many other holistic therapies.

At home I have many animals, 2 giant Schnauzer dogs called Willow and Rosie, a horse called Bug, a cat called Ice, a ferret called Pancho, ducks and chickens, a leopard gecko and a corn snake. I think I have the most animals out of everyone working in the practice! I enjoy all aspects of my job, especially meeting new people and getting to cuddle their animals

I joined Companion Care at the beginning of 2017 as part of the reception team after working for 9 1/2 years in the hospitality industry. I have always had a great love for animals and have my own cat but could easily have more given the chance! I love meeting clients and all of their lovely pets.

    A special ward to care for animals with contagious diseases.
  • Endoscopy
    An endoscope is a long tube connected to a light source and video camera that sends real time images to a television screen for viewing. Endoscopy is the use of an endoscope within internal structures and organs of the body. The endoscope can be inserted through natural openings such as the mouth, nose or rectum to reach the structure of interest.
  • Blood Pressure Monitor
    Used to measure the range of blood pressure as a preventative treatment to identify early signs of systemic hypertension.

    ECG is also available to keep your pet's heart healthy.

    Allows an assessment of the functionality of a patients organs.
  • Haematology
    Allows the assessment of a patient's blood and blood cells.

    Unlike humans, dogs need to be under general anesthesia for dental X-rays. Anesthesia is considered to be a safe procedure and will be performed after a general examination. It is tailored to the individual and your dog is continuously monitored during the dental exam.
