My name is Sophie and I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Liverpool Uni in 2012. I've worked in Prescot since January 2017 and I've loved getting to know all the clients and pets here. As a vet, I particularly enjoy interesting medical cases, geriatric care and performing ultrasound scans. In my spare time I like spending time with my husband, 2 kids and border terrier Maggie, and if I get any spare moments (rare!) I like to do a bit of baking too.

Heidi joined companion care, Prescot in February 2016 as head nurse and practice manager. Heidi previously specialised in chemotherapy in dogs and cats for 3 years at Liverpool University and then moved over to the intensive care unit at Liverpool university for 2 years.
Heidi then moved to Melbourne university in Australia where she worked for the emergency and critical care unit. She saw a lot of interesting cases and had a vast learning experience. She has developed a wide range of knowledge and transfers it to her role at Prescot.
She has a passion for felines and will help your cat feel at ease when they are at the practice. Heidi is currently completing a diploma in advanced feline nursing with the ISFM. Heidi also enjoys intensive nursing and will make your pet feel at home when with us. Heidi also will help you with any queries or problems you may have with your pets and oversees the day-to-day running of companion care, Prescot.

Kirsty began her career as a receptionist at Prescot, which was a position she held for almost two years until going on maternity leave to have her little boy. Kirsty decided she would like to do veterinary nursing and was lucky that Prescot had a student nurse job opening. Now back at the practice, she is really excited to be doing her veterinary nurse training as she is passionate about animals and has wanted to become a vet nurse since the age of five. She enjoys inpatient care and learning about all the different aspects of nursing.
She lives with her fiancé and two children. She has three rats who are called Ruby, Rosie and Rae. When Shes not in work or studying she loves spending quality time with her family.

I became a registered nurse after passing my exams in 2005.
Since then, I have enjoyed being a head nurse at a veterinary hospital in Milton Keynes, and ECC nurse at the University of Melbourne and after being sole support crew for my husband’s run across the USA and having my daughter, I re-joined working here at Prescot Vets 4 pets.
My main work interests are Emergency treatment, intensive nursing and clinics.
