As the leading small animal veterinary group in the UK with more than 50 surgeries, we always have a requirement for locum vets and nurses in many different locations. We offer a highly competitive package including accommodation (where appropriate) and regularly have locum positions available from short to longer terms. As a locum for Companion Care you are self-employed and are therefore responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance payments.

It is important that appropriate insurance cover is provided for our locums.  Throughout the duration of your contract you will be covered by valid and adequate insurance, this is a Professional Indemnity insurance provided by the Veterinary Defence Society.
