Race for Life

I am Beverley Nicholas I am the full time Receptionist for Companion Care Truro.
I decided to run the race for life to raise money for Cancer as it is a charity close to my heart.
But I decided I am going to run for all the animals that have cancer as very few people run for animals. My family do home boarding and my mum breeds cockers and I do agility with my dog chicken so I decided to run for animals as they are a big part of my life.
Its 5km which is 3 miles. And hope to do it in a reasonable time. I am very much into fitness and regularly go to the gym or seen out running with my friend Sue who took part last year but unforntually I was unable to due to illness.

Since Race for Life started in 1994, an incredible six million participants have raised over £493million, more than any other UK event series raising money to fund cancer research.

Some of our Race for Life women take part in celebration of surviving a cancer experience. Others take part in memory of a loved one or to give hope to a cancer-free future
