Gilles Bertrand MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
Gilles joined the practice in April 2008 after twenty five years of private practice in Paris. He qualified with a veterinary degree from the School of Veterinary Science of Alfort, in Maisons-Alfort, France, and then went on to achieve his doctorate from the medical faculty of Creteil in Creteil, France. His expertise and experience have been a welcome boon to our practice while at the same time spicing things up a bit with his French flair.
Lauren Williams BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Lauren is qualified as a veterinarian at Onderstepoort veterinary faculty in South Africa. She is a kind and caring person, giving her patients the best care that she can. She has a special love for all things furry, particularly guinea pigs!
Gareth Myles BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Gareth qualified from Onderstepoort Veterinary Faculty in South Africa and has a keen interest in small animal surgery and especially enjoys working with dogs. He has a great love of the outdoors and enjoys mountain biking and hiking in his spare time.
Marion Peters
Head Nurse
Marian started off in human nursing but decided animal patients were far more pleasant to work with. She spent four years in veterinary nursing in Essex and then joined Companion Care in Telford in 2002 and has been with us ever since. Marian is our senior nurse and lives in the beautiful village of Jackfield in the Ironbridge Gorge.
Emma Mitchell
Nurse Assistant
Emma joined our practice in 2006 after completing a diploma in Animal Management at Reaseheath College. She is at present completing her National Certificate in Veterinary Care Assistant which should be completed by the end of this year. Emma is very active with arranging and conducting puppy parties in our practice and has become an excellent speaker in her presentations.
Lucy Hennessey
Veterinary Nurse
Lucy has only recently joined our practice after qualifying as a Veterinary nurse at Harper Adams University, Newport. Lucy has been with us for two months and has already made her mark on our practice and has settled down well in her rota. Lucy has taken on the big task of arranging our nurse clinics in the practice and will ably be supported by Marian and Emma.
Tracey Kennedy
Vet Receptionist
Tracey joined our practice in February 2009 and brought a wealth of experience in reception work with her, as she has spent many years in reception in other practices in Telford. Tracey has brought a very friendly atmosphere to our front desk and is very popular with our clients.
Sarah Peters
Vet Receptionist
Sarah joined our reception team in April 2009 part time but has increased to a full time member. She has a very busy schedule as apart from her Sarah has impressed us all with her energy and efficiency and we wish her long and happy stay with us.
Lisa Pessall
Vet Receptionist
Lisa is the newest member of our team, she joined in November 2011. When shes not working shes kept very busy and active playing bowls for England and spending time with her two young children and kitten, Jessica, who was adopted from the surgery!! Lisa brings with her a wealth of customer service experience and is absolutley loving her new role and has fitted in perfectly.
