Your vet is Vikki Halliday, MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner & Veterinary Surgeon
Since qualifying from Glasgow in 1997 I have worked all over the UK, starting in mixed practices and then working for the government as a Veterinary Officer.I then choose to focus on small animal medicine and choose to develop my skills working as a small animal locum across a range of practices. I enjoy all the challenges that being a small animal vet brings but I have a particular interest in ophthalmology and medicine. I am extremely excited about opening Companion Care Stirling, working with such an enthusiastic and friendly team and meeting all the new pets and owners! Outside of work I am kept very busy looking after my horse, three Labradors, three rabbits and three goldfish! I also enjoy escaping on my motorbike, clay pigeon shooting and spending time with my family.
Elizabeth Mackenzie
Veterinary Surgeon
Elizabeth qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon at the Royal (DICK) School of Veterinary Studies in 2004. She worked for 6 years in mixed practice and has now decided to focus on small animals. Elizabeth enjoys all aspects of the job but her main interest is surgery. She spends a lot of her free time walking her Greyhound or socialising with family and friends.
Melissa Cartwright
Veterinary Nurse
Melissa left school and went to university where she gained a BSc (hons) in Medical Biotechnology. Once qualified, she pursued various other jobs before deciding to follow her passion for animals, and so becoming a Vet Nurse. Melissa has been in practice for over 4 ½ years and is now fully qualified. Her crazy dog Molly Wogs keeps her amused with her hilarious antics. She loves being outdoors so enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and gardening! She also has a passion for jet planes and horror films!!
Janice Batchelor
Receptionist
Janice enjoys meeting people and adores animals, so being a receptionist combines both! In her spare time, Janice and her husband enjoy watching their sons play football (which can take them all over the country), hill-walking, socialising and walking their two Labradors Baillie and Mallie. Having five children, there is never a dull moment, with their friends and partners always dropping in to see them.
