Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I was brought up in the neighbouring county of Somerset and had wanted to become a vet from an early age. I qualified from Cambridge University in 1995 and went on to work in mixed practice – initially in Cornwall and then Dorset. I moved to Salisbury to concentrate solely on small animal medicine and surgery, and I have a particular interest in neurology and oncology.
I became sole partner in Salisbury Companion Care in 2008 and I am fortunate to have a great team behind me, which includes my mad rescue collie, Harley, who pet owners may have already met at the surgery!
Louise McGee RVN
Veterinary Nurse
Louise has worked in veterinary practice in Salisbury for 8 years, qualifying in 2005 as a veterinary nurse. She has a keen interest in all aspects of veterinary nursing particularly surgery and would like to further her knowledge in animal physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. Louise is a key member of the veterinary team, offering a full range of nurse clinics to our clients. Louise lives with her partner and two young sons.
Ronnie Deery VN
Veterinary Nurse
Veronica Deery (Ronnie) joined the practice in April 2010. She has been in practice for 25 years, has been self-employed for the last 15 years and has worked in a range of fields in the Industry, at all levels. Ronnie has worked with Companion Care since its inception and has been closely involved with the company’s expansion during the last five years. Ronnie’s special professional interests include Obstetrics, surgical nursing and clinical Medicine. Ronnie has 3 Golden Retrievers and many smaller friends. Her personal interests include Art, creative writing, foreign travel and foreign cuisine.

Tina has been employed in the veterinary business for the last 9 years and particularly enjoys meeting people and their pets. Tina lives with her husband, two daughters, rescued German shepherd dog Storm, naughty cat Bart, two guinea pigs Eric and Scrabble.
