Charles Boucher, MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

Charles Boucher Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon Companion Care Vets New Malden
I qualified from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2002 and started working as a vet for a welfare organization in Cape Town. I then moved to the UK where I worked as an emergency vet in Oxford for 2 years.  I became a joint venture partner with Companion Care in May 2005 and opened a veterinary surgery inside the Pets at Home in New Malden, formerly known as Raynes Park.
I have a particular interest in small animal surgery and orthopaedics and am currently completing my general practitioners certificate in small animal surgery.
When not at work, you can find me out on the trails or on the golf course.  I love trail running and mountain biking and play golf off a 12 handicap.
Pesto is my Border terrier who can normally be seen cruising around the surgery.  She enjoys comforting the in patients and stealing left over liver treats from the consult rooms! Lizzy is my overweight cat that has been on a diet for the last 5 years!  I still can’t work out why she’s not loosing weight…….Maybe its time to book her in for a weight clinic with one of the nurses!
