Huw Morgan-Jones BVsc CertSAS MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Bristol University in 1996. Since then I’ve worked all over! Initially in Northampton, I then moved to a South Pacific Island called Vanuatu in 1999. With limited facilities in Vanuatu, I took animals for x-rays to the local human hospital and sometimes had to sterilize my surgical equipment in the oven!
I completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2001. After 6 months down under, I joined a large small animal hospital in London as their resident Orthopaedic Surgeon for 5 years, amongst my other duties I was in charge of treating the orthopaedic problems for the Metropolitan Police Dogs.
I became a partner in Milton Keynes Vet Surgery in 2007 where I am lucky enough to be in charge of the practice with a very dedicated team. I love the outdoors, and I’m particularly interested in bushcraft and hill walking. A game of squash is my favourite way end to a busy day’s work.
Huw recently undertook a 400mile cycle challenge from Bristol to Bordeaux in aid of the disabled charity PROPS.
