Cat microchip tale
Hi, my name is Paws and I’d like to say thank you……thank you to my owners for getting me microchipped when I was a kitten!
You see one day I went for a stroll, exploring the neighbours’ gardens and before I knew it I was lost. I walked and walked and just didn’t know which way to turn. Some kind people used to feed me along the way and I found shelter most nights but it was really scary. I was away from home for a long time – when I was finally found I heard my owner saying that it was almost two years!
The only reason I ever saw my owners again was thanks to the microchip. When I was found feeling a bit poorly a kind man took me to the vet. They scanned me for a microchip and my owner had kept the national microchip database up to date so we were reunited! I was found 15-miles from home.
I am now safe and warm back at home – thank goodness for that tiny little microchip!
