With over 20 years’ experience in the veterinary profession, working for many years  in companion animal practice as well as other related industries, I bring a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience to this exciting new venture.

Over my career I have realised the importance of providing pet owners with a friendly, welcoming vet clinic where you can feel confident that your pet is in the hands of caring professionals.

In my spare time I particularly love long walks in the countryside with my partner Tim. Recently we have adopted a 7 month old kitten.  She had been through a traumatic event and has had to have a front leg removed.  Thankfully, she is well on the mend and settling in to her new home.

After several years of living and working south of the border I am delighted to be back on home ground, working with my business partner, Jane and a fantastic dedicated veterinary team to provide pets and their human families with a great service.

Having qualified as a veterinary nurse over 20 years ago, I have worked in many areas of veterinary medicine but my first love is in general practice - being hands on & caring for our patients.
As a pet owner myself I understand how important it is to know that your veterinary team are skilled, knowledgeable, approachable and caring. As both a practice owner and Head Nurse I get great satisfaction from being in a position to give reassurance that your pet will get the very best care and that you feel you can ask us anything at all about your pet.  We will always endeavour to help.
At home, I share my life with my partner Nick, my Border Collie Nell, Tootie the cat and Bramble, my fabulous Highland pony.

Since qualifying as a veterinary nurse from Edinburgh's Telford College in January 2011, I have worked in general practice, building my confidence and gaining new skills. I have a special interest in animal behaviour, weight clinics and meeting all the new clients. At home I have 3 Guinea Pigs, Lily, Clover and Smurf, and in my spare time I enjoy walking, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Having worked in the Veterinary care industry, on and off for the last 15 years, I am looking forward to the variety and challenges each new day brings. I enjoy meeting people as well as their pets and aim to provide them with a warm friendly welcome & excellent service.  Away from work I live with my husband, our 2 kids & my dad.  We don’t currently have any pets and when time allows, I enjoy playing golf, pottering in the garden and have a great passion for genealogy.
