Dr Stevan Pesic

Veterinary Surgeon and Joint Venture Partner

Dipl Vet, MRCVS

Read Dr Stevan Pesic bio

I am a qualified Veterinary Surgeon since 2001 in two countries – my native Serbia and the UK where I am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I work with small animals and my main interests are in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, laparoscopy and diagnostics such as x-rays and ultrasound. I have worked in west Kent since 2005, working alongside some of the best Vets in the country and getting to know the pet lovers who live here.

I have been Partner in Orpington Companion Care since January 2012. The team and myself  are dedicated and reliable professionals who work at the upmost veterinary standards. Your pets deserve the best standards of care - and that's what we deliver. We are also proud training practice for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses

Outside work I look after cheeky dog Noddle and two naughty cats Tinsel and Lolly the Lion.

Dr Eme Szabo

Veterinary Surgeon

MRCVS

Read Dr Eme Szabo bio

My name is Eme, I am originally from Transylvania. I have studied there at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj Napoca, before moving to the UK in 2017. During my time here I have worked as a veterinary nurse at a cat charity hospital before registering with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2018 and starting to work as a vet.
Working with animals is my passion and nothing fulfills me as much as caring for the needy, especially when it means that during a hard work day I can get some cuddles in from the animals I care for.
I particularly enjoy feline medicine, surgery and behaviour, and I am always happy to discuss why your furry family member might be behaving so peculiarly.
Before deciding to pursue my veterinary career, I have volunteered for a year as a 1st Grade teacher on an island in the Pacific, which was a wonderful experience for me.
When I am not at work, you might find me in my kitchen cooking up something yummy, or out on a nature walk. I also enjoy ballroom dancing and ballet, which has accompanied me through the majority of my forming years, so if the way I stand or reach for things looks funny, this might be why!

After finishing my animal care course at college, I spent time working with large animals on a farm in north London. Knowing I wanted to carry on within the animal care industry I started working at Companion care vets as a receptionist where I am now starting out as a veterinary care assistant with the hope of continuing my training on veterinary nursing.

In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter who is 9 years old, Casper my dog and Lola my cat.

Before joining the Companion Care Team in August 2019 I was a fully qualified Hairdresser.

I decided to take the back seat from hairdressing and look for something different. When the opportunity came up to work at Companion Care I jumped at the chance. I love animals including my 2 cats Teddy and Leo and my Staffie Pablo.

When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, going on days out and long country walks!"
