I qualified in 2001 from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. I landed in Lancashire soon after – in the midst of the foot and mouth disease outbreak. I started working on food hygiene with Eville & Jones Ltd. and then moved into small animal practice in 2005, settling in the south while working at the Portsmouth surgery. In 2009 I joined partnership with Antony and Mackie at Companion Care Fareham, and in 2011 with Lubo and Antony at Companion Care Collingwood. At home I have 2 rabbits and in my spare time I enjoy reading, walking in the countryside and travelling.

She has a number of pets: 2 rabbits, a cockatiel, a dog and a cat that has unfortunately only got half a tail after a nasty accident.
