Tom Mowlem BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Parter
Tom started work in a rural mixed practice based in south Somerset before joining Companion Care in 1998 - opening the Poole branch before moving to the Bournemouth surgery in 2000. He became a JVP in 2002. Tom really enjoys the everyday hustle and bustle of general small animal practice and understanding the relationships between pet and owner. He has one dog – a border terrier called Buddy, and 2 rabbits.
In his spare time he enjoys driving and restoring vintage and classic cars, mountain biking, playing rugby and spending time with his four young children. His most recent surgery in Christchurch opened in November 2009, in partnership with Debbie Clarke.
Debbie Clarke BVSc MRCVS

Debbie joined Companion Care Bournemouth in 2003 following her previous job in Hertfordshire and joined Tom as a JVP in April 2009. In November 2009, she teamed up with Tom again to open the Christchurch surgery.
Debbie runs the Christchurch surgery and is qualified to perform acupuncture on pets - she also has interests in rabbit medicine and surgery. She has three cats and a collection of chameleons and corn snakes. In her spare time she enjoys researching and breeding corn snakes and chameleons, keeping fit at the local gym, skiing and horse riding.
