our team
Paul Meiring MRCVS
Joint Venture partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified in South Africa in 2000 and after initially working in mixed practice for a few years decided to focus on small animals. I have worked in Warwickshire, Surrey and for the last 5 years in Derbyshire. In 2006 I moved to Companion Care in Chesterfield and have been here ever since. In the first year we were flooded out which was not a great start, but with a brand new practice and a brilliant team of staff we are now back on our feet. My main veterinary interests are small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging. In my spare time I enjoy running, cycling, climbing or walking Ernie. I live with my wife, baby daughter, Ernie the Staffie and Petzl the cat.
