Your Vet is Glenn Everett, MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon and Joint Venture Partner
Starting my own practice with Companion Care is the culmination of a lifelong dream for me, which started at age three (quite a few years ago now!) when I decided I wanted to be a vet. Since then I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2004, and have worked in several practices in the South East, and have been a Kent resident for the last three years. I am particularly interested in the complicated medical cases we see as part of our day to day caseload, although I very much enjoy all aspects of being a small animal vet in general practice. This new surgery is very exciting for me, as it will allow me to be the vet that I have always wanted to be, and to improve the lives of both my patients and their owners.
Outside of work you may find me trekking the footpaths and byways of the Kent countryside with my wife, Kate, and Labrador-cross, Willow, both of whom you may see at the practice from time to time. Or, if you happen to be at a Kent landmark early in the morning, or at a particularly interesting time, you are likely to catch me with camera and tripod in hand practicing my favourite hobby of photography.
I look forward to meeting all my new clients and patients, and dealing with all of their needs and wants at this new veterinary practice.
Andrew Hendershot, BA BVetMed MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Andrew completed a degree in biology at the University of California Santa Cruz before studying at The Royal Veterinary College, where he earned a degree in veterinary medicine in 2011. With a special interest in small animals, Andrew enjoys the variety of creatures he sees at Companion Care Chatham. In his spare time Andrew enjoys walking his two Border Collies Patch and Phoebe, camping, photography, and most of all, spending time with his wife, Sarah.
Eleanor Gurnett
Veterinary Nurse
I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2006 after studying Veterinary Nursing at London Zoo for 2 years and have worked in practice for over 11 years. My main interests inside work are radiography, inpatient care, cat behaviour and nurse clinics.
Outside of work I enjoy camping, walking and going to the cinema. I share my house with my 5 year old rescue cat, Lottie and 2 Guinea pigs, Molly and Milly.
Lisa Mead
Veterinary Nurse
Julia Dray
Veterinary Nurse
I qualified as a vet nurse in 2005 after studying Veterinary Nursing Science at university. I love nurse clinics as my favourite part of the job is helping and advising people with their pets. Weight control and behaviour are my favourite subjects; I hope to continue to offer Weight Clinics and house visits for behaviour consultations.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the cinema, keeping fit (sometimes) and I never tired of talking about my two beloved cats.
