helping matters

Companion Care vet surgeries are proud, enthusiastic supporters of a wide number of charities throughout the UK. We support local and national causes and we send a huge ‘THANKS’ to all our visiting pet owners for helping us to help many charities..

The gift of independence is priceless and yet something a lot of us take for granted. Companion Care whole-heartedly supports the work of Dogs for the Disabled and we applaud the wonderful people (both employed and volunteers) who help the organisation to achieve all that they do.

Support adoption for pets

Tasmyn Jeffs, Milton Keynes with Dougal the Guinea Pig - rehomed by Support Adoption for pets

The Pets at Home Charitable Foundation, which has recently changed its’ name to Support Adoption For Pets, gives pets a second chance of happiness by donating funds to various re-homing charities.

They support charities such as: The Blue Cross, Dogs Trust, Cats Protection, Scottish SPCA and the Rabbit Welfare Association, plus many smaller,  local re-homing centres.

Pets at Home stores, Companion Care vet surgeries and their visitors are active contributors to Support Adoption for Pets.

The in-store Support Adoption Centres house pets waiting to find a new home. Dougal, the long-haired guinea pig, didn’t stay long in the centre. Tasmyn Jeffs – a nurse at Milton Keynes Companion Care – took one look and was smitten!
