Since qualifying in 1988 from Pretoria University I have had a special interest in small animals. Before partnering in Companion Care in Cardiff with Johann, I partnered in practice in South Africa for 8years, and worked at Medivet for 4 years. I have 2 cats called Tsotsi and Impi, and in my spare time I like to play sport, music…more sport (!) and photography.

I too graduated from Pretoria University in 1988, and have had 21 years in practice. I previously worked as a night vet at Medivet for 8 years and specialise in small animals. I have a dog which is a flatcoat called Ruffin and during my spare time like a spot of hunting and woodwork.

Deborah joined the practice in 2006. She previously worked at Tesco’s and is the proprietor of her own business so therefore has plenty of customer service experience! In her spare time she breeds and shows dogs. Deborah has 5 Bullmastiffs called Jolly, Sugar, Muffin, Freddie and Wispa.
Rhiannon Simms

Rhiannon joined the practice in August 2009 and is currently studying for a degree in English Studies. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the cinema, walking with her dogs, photography and socializing with friends. Rhiannon shares her home with 7 rats, a dog called Mollie, 2 tortoises, 6 terrapins, a newt and also fosters and rehomes unwanted rats regularly.
