Our Team
Your Vet is Chris McGaugie, BSc (Hons) BVMS MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner & Veterinary Surgeon
.
I completed an Honours Degree in Microbiology & Immunology before moving on to Glasgow Vet School and qualifying as a vet in 2004. I have worked in a variety of mixed practices but for the last 3 years I have worked purely with small animals.
I feel that this range of experience has given me the drive and ambition to run my own practice and I am delighted to team up with Companion Care and bring a new Veterinary Surgery to Bishopbriggs.I enjoy all aspects of working as a vet and have a particular interest in internal medicine and exotics. I am currently studying for a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with which I aim to deliver an excellent service to the patients and clients of Companion Care Bishopbriggs. Outside of work I love spending time with my wife, our son and baby daughter. I enjoy natural history, walking in the country and distance running if the time allows.
