Kirstin Fyfe, MRCVS
Joint Venture Partner & Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2000 and have been working in small animal practice in Ayrshire for the past eleven years. This experience in all aspects of small animal practice and local knowledge will enable me to provide an excellent standard of veterinary care at our new 'state of the art surgery' in Ayr. I am very pleased to be teaming up with Companion Care in this exciting new venture and look forward to getting to know the patients in Ayr. I enjoy all aspects of my work but have a particular interest in rabbit medicine. Outside work I enjoy eventing with my horse Obi and relaxing at home with my dog Blue, a red collie and cat Dizzy. I have also recently adopted some chickens!

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in January 2011 after studying at Barony College. My main interests are puppy socialisation and patient care. Outside work I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, one a shorthaired pointer and the other a chocolate Labrador.

I have been working in small animal practice in Ayrshire for the past 10 years, gaining experience in general practice and also working for a local emergency service. I love all animals but very much see myself as a cat person. In work I enjoy all aspects of nursing but particularly enjoy animal dentistry. At home I have 3 crazy cats.

I worked for over two years in Bonnybank Kennels and Cattery and completed a course in Animal Care last year at Reid Kerr College. While on the course I visited Barony College where I worked on the farm and delivered a few lambs! At home I have a 7 year old Westie called Nell. Outside of work I enjoy walking, reading and socialising with my friends.
