I qualified from Cambridge in 1989 and have spent 20 years in practice working in Wood Green Animal Shelters, Barry and Bridgend. In 1998 I became a partner at Swansea Companion Care and we’ve built a great, well-established team here. I have many animals – dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, turkeys, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens and a pigeon – all pets because I’m a vegetarian! When I’m not in work I enjoy knitting, reading, sewing, gardening and Egyptology.

Nicky’s a recent member to the team, and a recent graduate from Liverpool. At home Nicky has a welsh terrier and reptiles. Her hobbies are gardening, baking and sewing.

Liz has been working with animals for 19 years. She has many pets: dogs, degus, guinea pigs, rabbit and mice. Her spare time is spent reading and gardening.

Helen joined us in 2006. She has 3 cats. Helen is the district commissioner of the girl guides and enjoys amateur dramatics.

Rachel came to us from the PDSA where she was a nursing assistant. At home she has a dog, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and a budgie.
